Thursdays at the Quaker Meeting House, 1831 Fern Street. The meditation begins at 6:50pm, in respect for the other practioners and yourself, please arrive on time so you have time to arrange your cushions and settle peacefully.
If you happen to be running late, please wait until the bells and chanting have finished before entering the meditation hall. Thank-you for understanding and supporting our practice.
If this is your first time sitting with us, please arrive a few minutes early so you have time to get settled and we can give you a brief overview of the format for the evening.
Cushions – The practice center does not have zabutons, we do have a small supply of cushions so please bring your own cushions if you have them.
Days of Mindfulness and Mindful Walks / Hikes
The sangha offers days of mindfulness and mindful walks and hikes throughout the year. It’s an opportunity for friends to gather and practice together. Please contact us for dates.
We meet four times a year for soup night. This is held at the Quaker Meeting House and provides a chance for us to share a meal among friends. Please contact us for dates.
