IMPORTANT NOTE August 16, 2021:  We are working as a Sangha to be able to return sitting together physically every Thursday evening at the Quaker’s Friends Meeting House.  But for the time being we are gathering primarily online and occasionally,  when the weather permits,  outdoors in person and simultaneously on Zoom.  We will update this announcement when circumstances change  and when we can resume meeting regularly in person.

Welcome to the Mindfulness Community of Victoria (MCV). 

Established in 1999, our Community  embraces an inclusive and diverse group of people who follow the mindfulness teachings of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. We welcome anybody who wishes to bring mindful awareness, presence and compassion into all aspects of their life. We believe that dwelling in the present moment is the way to truly develop peace and harmony in one’s self and in the world.

Our Community is a lay Sangha.  We encourage and support each other.  We are participatory and collaborative—we invite everybody to contribute to and become involved in all aspects of our Sangha.
